LEADING CWRT SART INTO THE FUTURE
I feel privileged
to be Headteacher of such a good school as Cwrt Sart which, by Government
criteria, is now benchmarked as a Group
1
school. Our aim is to send our pupils on their journey through life with
a healthy body and mind and a first class attitude
towards
learning. In achieving this, I would like to
thank the
staff for their
commitment and huge dedication, the Parents for
their support and expectations, the School Governors for their continued
support and, not least, the Pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm.
Challenges lay ahead - in 2008 the new National Curriculum will reflect the
fact that people will no longer be having a lob for life but will be
expected to change jobs and keep up with the pace of modern technology. This
means that pupils will need to leave school with
skills for "Life
Long Learning" and Cwrt Sart is already working hard to develop a "skills
based" curriculum in order to give our pupils a great start in life. I have
enjoyed being part of a dedicated team and I am proud to be able to say that I
am Headteacher of one of the best schools in
